About the Role
OpenText is hiring a Senior Software Developer to build integrations between OpenText Content Management and Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and Microsoft 365 services.
This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role on a small, high-impact team with end-to-end feature ownership.
The role involves solving complex integration problems across the OpenText and Microsoft enterprise ecosystems.
As a Senior Software Developer
- Design, build, and maintain SPFx web parts and extensions, Microsoft Teams applications, and Outlook add-ins.
- Develop Microsoft Graph and REST API integrations across Microsoft 365 services, including bidirectional content and metadata synchronization.
- Build Azure cloud-native backend services using Azure Functions, Storage, Service Bus, and API Management.
- Implement and troubleshoot Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, consent, permission, and SSO solutions.
- Design relational data models and optimize SQL Server solutions for large-scale workloads.
- Diagnose integration issues involving Microsoft 365, Azure, browsers, and third-party platforms.
- Investigate client escalations and translate root-cause analysis into product and operational improvements.
- Contribute to architecture reviews, documentation, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.
