Role Overview

Engineering Management

• Manage work allocation and supervision for the PMC Engineering group and oversee the contractor during engineering and procurement phases.
• Ensure engineering personnel are competent, correctly resourced, and working to approved procedures.
• Develop and implement engineering processes, procedures, and systems.
• Provide independent PMC services, technical opinions, recovery plans, risk mitigation, and project progress advice.

Technical Coordination

• Participate in design reviews covering constructability, testability, operability, maintainability, system interactions, environmental factors, safety, fire protection, and materials.
• Coordinate technical reviews and processing of vendor documents and secure owner approval for engineering designs.
• Manage interfaces among project disciplines including piping, mechanical, structural, E&I, and specialist disciplines.
• Conduct technical bid evaluations, issue bid clarifications, and prepare technical evaluation reports and recommendations.

Project Leadership

• Organize the project team, define responsibilities, delegate work, and motivate team members toward project goals.
• Manage project performance, cost, quality, schedule, HSE requirements, contract scope, and corporate policy compliance.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders and coordinate contractors, owners, customers, government bodies, and existing facilities.
• Lead resolution of complex issues across project phases and interfaces.

People and Site Leadership

• Conduct succession planning, competence assessments, performance assessments, and development activities for team members.
• Develop effective working practices for the project management team.
• Visit sites to demonstrate safety leadership.
• Incorporate field-requested or field-initiated changes into engineering deliverables where applicable.

Qualifications and Experience

• Four-year bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• At least 15 years of overall oil and gas experience.
• At least 5 years of GCC experience.
• Experience with FEED and EPC projects and PMC roles.
• Experience in gas processing and midstream projects.
• Previous offshore project experience, including at least 5 years on offshore projects.
• ADNOC experience is preferred.

• Strong project leadership, team organization, delegation, and stakeholder coordination capabilities.
• Ability to manage schedule, cost, quality, HSE, technical governance, and contract requirements.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and problems within multicultural and multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Ability to support succession planning, competence assessments, performance reviews, and personnel development.
