Role Overview
Lead strategic wealth management business and technology initiatives within a banking environment.
Deliver complex programs and projects in alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, operational excellence, and agreed timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end wealth management programs and projects from initiation through implementation and post-production support.
- Manage roadmaps, scope, timelines, budgets, governance structures, delivery plans, risks, issues, dependencies, actions, and escalations.
- Coordinate business, technology, operations, risk, compliance, vendors, and external partners.
- Oversee requirements, solution design, testing, deployment, implementation, reporting, and post-production support.
- Drive digital, regulatory, transformation, and operational excellence initiatives while ensuring business value realization.
- Support Agile delivery and maintain alignment with banking regulations, internal policies, risk requirements, and governance standards.
Required Experience and Skills
- At least 8 years of program or project management experience in banking or financial services.
- Strong experience in wealth management, private banking, or asset management environments.
- Understanding of investment products, portfolio management, trading, custody, and wealth management operations.
- Experience delivering large-scale business and technology transformation programs.
- Experience managing multiple projects, workstreams, dependencies, milestones, governance, risks, and issues.
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management experience across business and technology functions.
- Understanding of SDLC, Agile, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Experience with requirements, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-production activities.
Domain Expertise
- Relevant expertise may include investment products, portfolio management, trading, custody, wealth management operations, asset management, or private banking.
- Experience with digital wealth management platforms or wealth-related business and technology transformation is relevant.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with leading banks or financial institutions in the UAE or GCC is preferred.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Exposure to digital wealth management, fintech integrations, or modern financial services platforms is preferred.
- Experience delivering regulatory, digital transformation, or operational excellence initiatives in banking is preferred.
Leadership and Delivery Approach
Work effectively with senior business and technology stakeholders and provide structured management updates.
Influence stakeholders, align business and technology teams, manage competing priorities, and own delivery outcomes.
