Senior DevOps / SRE Engineer

Role Overview

CI/CD and Automation

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications and services.
• Develop Jenkins and GitHub Actions pipelines using Shared Libraries, Declarative and Scripted Pipelines, Groovy, Python, and Bash.
• Automate build, test, security scanning, packaging, deployment, and release processes while reducing manual intervention.
• Establish standards for source control, branching, release management, artifact management, and deployment automation.

DevOps Tooling

• Administer, upgrade, integrate, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Nexus, Nexus IQ, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Sysdig, Cosign, Argo CD, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Manage tool integrations, availability, performance, capacity, access management, security, and governance.

Containers and Infrastructure

• Support containerized application build, packaging, deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Implement automated deployment strategies using container technologies, GitOps, and Argo CD.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and configuration management using reusable Infrastructure as Code.
• Support controlled, automated, auditable infrastructure changes and consistent environments.

DevSecOps and Security

• Integrate security controls and automated security and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
• Support vulnerability scanning, code quality analysis, dependency analysis, container security, and artifact verification.
• Implement secure software supply-chain practices including artifact signing and verification.
• Ensure DevOps processes follow organizational security and governance standards.

Monitoring and Incident Management

• Implement enterprise logging, monitoring, and observability using ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent technologies.
• Develop dashboards, alerts, and monitoring mechanisms for infrastructure and application environments.
• Troubleshoot production and non-production issues, participate in incident and problem management, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Identify recurring issues and implement permanent solutions through automation and continuous improvement.

SRE and Lifecycle Delivery

• Apply SRE principles to improve availability, scalability, performance, resilience, capacity planning, and operational processes.
• Work across project delivery and operational support from design and implementation through testing, deployment, and transition to operations.
• Provide technical guidance on build, deployment, configuration, automation, and operational requirements.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with DevOps methodologies, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience administering enterprise DevOps tooling and strong understanding of container technologies.
• Experience with GitOps and Argo CD, Infrastructure as Code, and DevSecOps security integration.
• Experience with ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana or equivalent monitoring and logging technologies.
• Strong infrastructure and security fundamentals, troubleshooting ability, and problem-solving capability.
