Senior Product Engineer - FinIQ Wealth Management Suite

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain front-to-back solutions using the FinIQ Wealth Management Suite.
• Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Manage and optimize Trade Life Cycle processes and workflows.
• Develop and integrate APIs for system interoperability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into effective solutions.
• Research and benchmark technologies to keep systems aligned with industry standards.
• Follow standards for coding, security, testing, and documentation.
• Mentor team members and influence teams on technical best practices and productivity.

Qualifications and Experience

• A postgraduate degree in computer science or a related field is requested, with equivalent industry experience accepted.
• Seven to nine years of experience in FinIQ Wealth Management Suite implementation and optimization is required.
• Experience with the Trade Life Cycle and end-to-end FinIQ solutions is required.
• Knowledge of asset management, investment banking, and trading platforms is required.
• SQL development and integration of FIX, EMSX, and TSOX protocols are required.
• Hands-on API integration and system interoperability experience is required.
• Familiarity with Advent, SAXO, SWIFT, Bloomberg, Reuters, and event-driven systems is requested.

Technical and Functional Skills

• Advanced SQL and SQL database knowledge is required.
• Knowledge of wealth management and trading systems is required.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is required.
• Understanding of event-driven architecture is advantageous.
• Experience in banking, financial, and fintech environments is required.
• Knowledge of coding, security, testing, and documentation best practices is required.
• The role requires a focus on long-term system stability and scalability.
• Strong communication, independence, collaboration, and team-influence skills are required.
