- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market landscape, customer needs, and competitive dynamics in Canada across English and French locales
- Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories for product specifications and architecture
- Translate strategic vision into actionable plans and lead cross functional teams to execute priority initiatives
- Own the end to end customer experience for Alexa Canada across Echo, FireTV, and additional endpoints
- Track launches through every step from experience review and packaging approval to beta testing, leadership presentations, and customer launch
- Manage prioritization and trade offs among customer experience, performance, and operational support load
- Continuously monitor customer experience performance using advanced analytics segmentation, cohort analysis, and causal inference
- Work closely with engineering teams and program management to deliver products to the market
- Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team's ability to meet goals
- Work collaboratively with other product managers to share frameworks, best practices, and institutional knowledge
Requirements
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning technology products
- Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Fluency in French (speak, write, read)

- The Amazon Alexa International team in Toronto is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the expansion of Alexa+ in Canada.

Key job responsibilities
- Define user needs through direct customer engagement including user research sessions, beta feedback programs, and analysis of customer support interactions to identify gaps, feature enhancements, and opportunities to grow the business.
- Define creative, high quality, simple product roadmaps based on team strategy and vision, communicating the 'why' through compelling narratives that align senior leadership and cross functional partners.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market landscape, customer needs, and competitive dynamics in Canada across English and French locales, including emerging AI/ML capabilities and their implications for product strategy.
- Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and application.
- Translate strategic vision into actionable plans and lead cross functional teams to execute on priority initiatives, writing clear strategy documents (PRFAQs, one pagers) that influence organizational priorities.
- Own the end to end customer experience for Alexa Canada across Echo, FireTV, and additional endpoints, partnering closely with UX designers to co create experiences that balance delight, usability, and technical feasibility.
- Track launches through every step from experience review and packaging approval, to beta testing, leadership presentations, and customer launch.
- Manage prioritization and trade offs among customer experience, performance, and operational support load, using data driven frameworks and experimentation (A/B testing, holdout groups) to validate decisions.
- Continuously monitor customer experience performance using advanced analytics segmentation, cohort analysis, and causal inference to identify gaps, improvement areas, and build improvement plans with measurable success criteria.
- Work closely with engineering teams and program management to deliver products to the market, demonstrating sufficient technical depth to evaluate architectural proposals, ask incisive questions about AI model behavior, and identify risks in technical approaches.
- Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.
- Work collaboratively with other product managers to share frameworks, best practices, and institutional knowledge to elevate team capability.

- As a Senior Product Manager, you will have a wide set of responsibilities to ensure our customers are delighted, including launching new Alexa powered devices and experiences and making Alexa continuously smarter.
- This role is equal parts business strategy, product definition, and program delivery.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning technology products
- Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Do you speak, write, and read fluently in French?
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
Salary Range
- The base salary range for this position is CAN, ON, Toronto 115,800.00 193,400.00 CAD annually.
