Sr. Practice Consultant-Data & AI

Position summary

Key responsibilities

• Partner with sales and account teams to scope, design, and present Data & AI solutions during pre-sales cycles.
• Lead technical discovery sessions and define target architectures across multicloud environments.
• Architect solutions spanning data engineering, governance, analytics/BI, and AI/ML platforms.
• Advise on cloud platform selection and workload placement based on cost, performance, and data residency.
• Develop statements of work, estimates, and solution architecture documentation.
• Provide delivery oversight and technical leadership on client engagements.
• Translate multicloud and Data & AI technology trends into practice offerings.
• Mentor junior consultants and engineers and contribute to thought leadership and enablement content.
• Support vendor and partner relationships across Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, Databricks, and Snowflake.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, analytics, or AI/ML consulting with pre-sales and delivery experience.
• Experience designing and delivering multicloud data and AI solutions across at least two major cloud providers.
• Deep expertise in modern data platforms and AI/ML tooling.
• Experience leading technical discovery and solution design for enterprise clients.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security across cloud platforms.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and business audiences.
• Relevant certifications across multiple cloud providers are preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Pay range

• The stated pay range is CAD 110,000–CAD 173,000.
• Base pay will be determined within the range based on work location, role scope, qualifications, experience, education, skills, and knowledge.
• Some positions may be eligible for additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses or sales-based variable pay.
