- Awareness of electrical/mechanical system hazards

Key Responsibilities
- Operates and monitors a hybrid power generation facility consisting of photovoltaic (PV) arrays, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and internal combustion engine (ICE) generators
- Ensures the safe and efficient operation of all systems, performs routine checks, and assists with basic maintenance and troubleshooting
- Comply with safety rules and regulations
- Be familiar with the fire equipments in his area
- Follow the instructions of the Shift Supervisor/Shift Engineer and Senior O&M Operator
- Coordinate with the Shift Supervisor/Shift Engineer and with other Operators in regard to all activities that affect them
- Monitor all parameters and enter periodic readings on log sheets
- Summarize all activities/events that took place during his shift in the log book
- Inspect the area and auxiliaries during the shift to make sure that all equipment parameters are within limits
- Report abnormalities to the Senior O&M Operator and Shift Supervisor/Shift Engineer
- Perform equipment changeover according to preset schedules
- Raise work requests or defect notes for faulty equipment
