Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Richard Design Services (RDS) is currently seeking experienced Sr.

Mechanical Engineers.

We are seeking skilled and motivated Senior-Level Mechanical Engineers.

This position is part of our Corpus Christi Division but will be located in Houston, TX.

• Participate in the development of a wide range of projects (Front End Studies, Front End Engineering Development, and Detailed Engineering).
• Analyze problems and take appropriate design actions to ensure the project meets client expectations. Development of piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and associated documents, in conjunction with process engineers
• Piping engineering activities – This involves familiarity with piping specifications, metallurgy, hydraulics, stress analysis, etc.
• Development of equipment and Specialty Item data sheets. This includes sizing and rating various equipment like pumps, horizontal and vertical vessels, heat exchangers, and air coolers.
• Development of requisitions for inquiry, coordination with vendors, and recommending final selections.
• May supervise, coordinate, and review the work of a small staff of engineers.
• Present technical information to peers or other personnel for review.
• Coordination and Interfacing with engineering and design disciplines in the development of projects.
