Sr. Infrastructure Engineer – Data Platforms (SQL DBA)

• Experience: 9+ years administering, designing, modernizing, or migrating enterprise SQL Server databases.
• Core Technical Skills: SQL Server 2019 and 2022; Availability Groups; Distributed Availability Groups; PowerShell; and terraform.
• High Availability and Recovery: Experience with HA, DR, backup and recovery, tuning, and production support.
• Cloud Experience: Experience with cloud adoption, security, governance, and integration.
• Automation and DevOps: Experience automating provisioning, support, monitoring, and lifecycle operations with PowerShell and Terraform.
• Operating Systems: Strong Windows Server and Windows clustering experience; Linux is beneficial.
• Engineering Practices: Working knowledge of DevOps and Agile practices and proofs of concept.
• Service Orientation: Experience designing user-centric database services, including self-service provisioning.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills; flexible, reliable, self-starting, and customer focused.

• Cloud Database Experience: Experience operating SQL Server workloads on GCP, Azure, AWS, or other public clouds.
• Automation Tooling: Ansible, GitHub, or similar tooling; Python scripting.
• Infrastructure Engineering: CI/CD practices and automated database provisioning workflows.
• Additional Experience: Agile methods, Linux administration, and PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
