A partner company is seeking a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst focused on Medicaid program oversight.

The role uses healthcare data, Medicaid policy knowledge, research, and visualization to produce actionable insights.

The work supports decisions related to Medicaid program integrity and public-sector healthcare outcomes.

Accountabilities

  • Perform advanced analysis, interpretation, and reporting of Medicaid data.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, anomalies, vulnerabilities, and high-risk areas.
  • Investigate potential fraud, waste, abuse, and other program integrity concerns using policy knowledge and claims analysis.
  • Develop analytical rules, methodologies, and solutions from complex healthcare data.
  • Build visualizations, dashboards, and reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Present conclusions and recommendations through written, verbal, and visual communication.
  • Collaborate with leadership and multidisciplinary teams on complex analytical challenges.
  • Support detection and prevention of fraud, waste, and abuse across Medicaid programs.

Requirements

  • A relevant bachelor's degree and at least five years of professional Medicaid data analysis experience are required.
  • Strong hands-on T-MSIS and Medicaid dataset experience is required.
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, Tableau, Databricks, Snowflake, or comparable technologies is required.
  • Experience with large and complex datasets, actionable pattern discovery, and advanced analytical solutions is required.
  • A strong understanding of Medicaid policy and healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse analytics is required.
  • Strong statistical analysis, research, data interpretation, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain NACI Tier 1 public trust designation is required.
  • Remote work with limited travel of less than 10% is expected.

Compensation

  • The estimated annual salary range is $106,250 to $143,750 USD, with final compensation based on experience, location, and contractual considerations.

Workplace and schedule

  • The role is fully remote.
  • The position is full-time and approximately 40 hours per week.
  • Limited travel is expected to be less than 10%.
