Role overview

Testing responsibilities

• Perform functional testing of a sporting application using Apple Vision Pro.
• Access live sporting events through the application and test AR/VR elements.
• Identify technical glitches, defects, and unexpected behavior.
• Document and report defects through the designated online tracking platform.
• Follow testing instructions and complete assignments according to client requests and project availability.
• Communicate findings in English and complete initial account setup before testing.
• Individual testing tasks typically require approximately 2 to 3 hours on an ad hoc basis.

Requirements

• Own an Apple Vision Pro device, be familiar with using it, and provide proof of ownership.
• Navigate a streaming application in the local language.
• Communicate testing findings effectively in English.
• Complete preparation or training when new to software testing.
• Have flexibility for ad hoc assignments and approximately 2 to 3 hours per task.
• Have strong attention to detail and be able to describe technical issues clearly.
• Be reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote freelance environment.
• Previous software testing experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Work arrangement

• The role is fully remote and can be performed from home, a coffee shop, or another suitable location.
• Assignments are flexible, short-term, and ad hoc without a fixed testing schedule.

Compensation

• Starting pay is $18 USD per hour, with rates open to negotiation.
• Payments are made weekly through PayPal or Payoneer.
• Payment is based on hours worked rather than the number of bugs discovered.
