Your role and responsibilities
- In this role, we are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Industrial Automation Digital Organization. You will contribute to successful project results in technology, software, product, and solution development by designing and delivering scalable, high-quality applications.
- You will work closely with global engineering teams, UX specialists, architects, and other stakeholders to develop modern industrial applications. As a senior engineer, you will contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, software quality, and continuous improvement while supporting and mentoring other engineers.
- This role is contributing to the Process Automation (PA) business area in Bangalore and reports to the R&D Line Manager. You will work within ABB’s global technology and engineering organization, collaborating with research, development, engineering, and service teams to accelerate innovation and deliver high-quality solutions.
- The work model for the role is: Hybrid
You will be mainly accountable for:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications, with a strong focus on frontend development using React and/or Angular and backend services using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
Develop and maintain application workflows involving APIs, relational and time-series databases, while contributing to scalable and maintainable application architecture and microservices-based solutions.
