Role Overview
Support engineering activities for automation projects in the energy industries under the supervision of senior engineers.
The role is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and contributes to ABB’s Automation - Energy Industries business.
Key stakeholders include customers, contractors, suppliers, project managers, and engineering colleagues.
Work Model
- The work model for the role is onsite.
Role Responsibilities
- Complete engineering tasks in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies.
- Collect data and support engineering design production.
- Perform surveys, standard computations, analysis, and basic design tasks.
- Prepare project documentation and apply standard methods within assigned deliverables.
- Assist customers with technical issues and interact with contacts, contractors, and other staff.
- Support communications and participate in engineering design, tools, and process workshops.
- Coordinate with commissioning and service functions to support installation and commissioning when applicable.
- Update engineering deliverables after installation and commissioning when applicable.
