Tender and Estimation
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities to understand project scope and client requirements.
- Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and pricing for civil and infrastructure works such as roads, utilities, bridges, and drainage.
- Analyze technical and commercial tender risks and coordinate with design, procurement, and execution teams.
- Develop pre-tender cost models and cash flow analyses.
- Prepare cost comparison sheets and recommend cost-effective solutions.
Pricing and Cost Control
- Prepare unit rates and pricing using market conditions, supplier quotations, and productivity analysis.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering and alternative material proposals.
- Maintain a pricing database and benchmark costs from previous projects.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations for technical and commercial compliance.
Coordination and Documentation
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and internal stakeholders on tender clarifications and queries.
- Ensure submissions comply with company policies, procedures, and client requirements.
- Prepare bid summaries, technical clarifications, and tender presentations for management review.
- Support the Tender Manager during negotiations and post-tender clarifications.
