Sr. Engineer - Procurement- Civil/ Finishes/ MEP

Job Description

• Collaborate with international and local vendors/manufacturers to procure materials related to civil construction (including finishes)/ MEP, equipment, and systems. Possess knowledge of global markets to identify cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality standards as per the company's SOPs.
• Monitor market trends, alternative materials, and innovations in construction and interiors.
• Analyze procurement data to identify opportunities for cost and process improvements.
• Maintain a vendor database and ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to optimize procurement outcomes.
• Collaborate with project, engineering, and design teams to understand material requirements and timelines.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to create MIS reports as required. Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures.
• Familiarity with sustainable sourcing and cost control practices.
• Knowledge of SAP Ariba would be an added advantage.
