Job Description
The Software Engineer, Production Support, ensures the stability and performance of a background check platform.
The role focuses on real-time monitoring, troubleshooting, code-level defect resolution, and collaboration with infrastructure and security teams.
Shift Timings
- The role requires rotational shifts for extended operational coverage.
- Afternoon shift hours are 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
- Night shift hours are 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
- Candidates must be comfortable with these timings and potential weekend rotations based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-priority application troubleshooting and issue resolution across all environments.
- Monitor system health and respond to application alerts during night-shift operations.
- Debug production issues and write Java and Spring Boot code fixes.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for system failures.
- Support build and deployment processes, including CI/CD, during off-peak hours.
- Provide shift handovers and stakeholder updates on critical production incidents.
