Sr. Director Analyst, S2P Digital Transformation (Remote)

· Technologies impactful to procurement: system knowledge should include areas like source-to-pay (S2P) suites, procure-to-pay suites (P2P), spend analysis, procurement intake, procurement orchestration, sourcing, operations & savings management, and data & analytics in procurement

· How will the Procurement technology market evolve, including the impact of emerging technologies

· How to best evaluate and select procurement technology vendors

· How to transform procurement digital capabilities

· How to develop a successful procurement technology strategy and digital roadmap, including AI

· Current state of AI in procurement and AI’s impact on the future of procurement

· How to build a business case and sequence AI investments in procurement

· How to plan for and facilitate the implementation of procurement technology, including AI

· How to deploy effective change management for procurement technology, including AI

· How to exact ROI from procurement technology investments, including AI

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred

· 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience

· Experience leading strategic digital transformation projects in procurement

· Extensive Sourcing and Procurement technology implementation or administration experience

· Strong familiarity with solutions from major technology providers such as Coupa, SAP Ariba, GEP, Jaggaer, and Ivalua is required. Familiarity with emerging technology providers is preferred.

· Experience developing and deploying an AI strategy for procurement is preferred.

· Experience piloting, implementing, or using AI in procurement is required .

· An ability to articulate the role procurement and sourcing technology plays in delivering business value.

· Experience leading strategic transformation projects that focus on digital enablement.

· A perspective on what emerging technologies are most relevant for procurement and how they will impact the procurement function.

· Demonstrate executive presence; can immediately establish credibility with executives and additional stakeholders

· Strong organizational skills; ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high quality deliverables

· Demonstrate excellence in research and writing ability

· Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills; ability to engage clients and respond effectively to questions

· Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data; can effectively apply patterns and frameworks while drawing and defending conclusions to client challenges

· Strong communication skills - able to explain complex concepts concisely and simply

· Subject matter expertise; comfortable presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements

· Strong business and financial acumen

· Deep knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within subject area as well as the interplay in that market

· Ability to work independently, while also being intrinsically motivated to collaborate across teams and support the workflow of others, in a multicultural global team

· Learning agile and adept with navigating highly matrixed environments

· Ability to represent Gartner's research methodology and strategies effectively at all levels

· Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (where applicable)
