Role Overview
Serve as a field sales Account Executive responsible for retention and growth across a territory of Large Enterprise clients.
Build trust-based relationships with C-level executives and help clients realize value from Gartner services.
The role covers large enterprise organizations with revenue thresholds varying by segment.
Sales Responsibilities
- Drive value delivery for current Gartner clients.
- Identify, cultivate, qualify, and close cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Build a high-quality pipeline and deliver against sales metrics and KPIs.
- Own quota responsibility for the assigned territory.
- Manage complex, high-revenue sales across matrixed business environments.
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting and account planning.
Required Experience
- 5–8 or more years of B2B sales experience, preferably in complex intangible sales environments.
- Experience selling to or influencing C-level executives.
- Proven record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to own, manage, and forecast a complex sales process.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
