- Develop and maintain comprehensive project budgets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project goals
- Conduct detailed cost analyses and provide regular cost performance reports to stakeholders
- Provide cost performance analysis, interpretation and forecasting of cost performance against budgets
- Maintain the Program and Project Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) with version control
- Support risk assessments and assist in development of mitigation strategies to minimize financial impacts
- Create and update financial models to forecast project costs and cash flows
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet budget constraints
- Implement and maintain cost control systems to track project expenses and variances
- Provide expert advice on cost related matters to project managers and senior leadership
- Stay current with local regulations and industry best practices in cost engineering
- Provide budget and cost performance evaluation, interpretation and support business planning efforts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cost Control, Engineering, Science, Construction Management, or a related field
- 10 15 years of experience in cost engineering and cost reporting/management, preferably in large scale infrastructure or major construction projects
- Extensive knowledge of cost engineering principles, PMO practices, and budget management
- Has led cost control teams and managed the cost function at a departmental level
- Strong proficiency in cost management software (Primavera systems, Excel)
- Excellent knowledge and skills in financial modeling, risk assessment, and contract management
- In depth understanding of design review processes and their impact on project costs
- Familiarity with construction and engineering practices in Saudi Arabia
- Knowledge of local regulations and standards relevant to project costing and management
- Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

About the Role
- We are seeking a Senior Cost Control Manager to join our Project Management Office (PMO) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
- This role will focus on overseeing cost control activities for urban landscape projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation and financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project budgets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project goals
- Conduct detailed cost analyses and provide regular cost performance reports to stakeholders
- Provide cost performance analysis, interpretation and forecasting of cost performance against budgets
- Maintains the Program and Project Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS). Manage changes made to the structure of the CBS with version control.
- Support risk assessments and assist in development of mitigation strategies to minimize financial impacts

What do we need from you
