Industrial Complex, Riyadh

The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.

Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.

The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.

The position is responsible for designing and delivering integrated industrial automation and enterprise software solutions that bridge operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT). The role ensures scalable, reliable, and secure digital architectures that meet customer requirements and enhance operational efficiency, asset performance, and business outcomes across utilities, energy, water, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.

Solution Architecture & Design:

Analyze customer business and technical requirements.

Design end-to-end automation and digital architectures integrating OT and IT systems.

Develop solution blueprints, system architectures, functional specifications, and technical documentation.

Define cybersecurity, networking, cloud, and on-premises deployment architectures.

Application Engineering:

Configure, customize, and deploy software applications.

Develop use cases, workflows, dashboards, reports, and business processes.

Perform software testing, validation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Enterprise Software Integration:

Integrate SCADA, DMS/ADMS, EMS, APM, EAM, GIS, IoT, ERP, CMMS, cloud, and analytics platforms.

Customer Engagement:

Conduct workshops, demonstrations, POCs, and technical presentations.

Support proposal preparation and bid responses.

Digital Transformation & Analytics:

Design predictive maintenance, AI, machine learning, analytics, and digital twin solutions.

Project Delivery:

Support FAT, SAT, deployment, training, and customer acceptance activities.

HR Proficiency:

Ability to recruit, recognize and cultivate high performers and expose them in order to create a robust second line of management.

Ability to recognize low performers and guide them to improve or release them.

Ability to treat subordinates equally without any discrimination.

Assessment criteria of subordinates is performance that leads to planned results.

Ensure availability of delegation of authority matrix to have sufficient delegations as per company policy.

Develop, coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Should be conversant and able to navigate through IT solutions especially those relevant to his job and business.
