Financial Reporting and Accounting
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and current financial records.
- Oversee and reconcile general ledger accounts and monitor accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Ensure timely closing of books and accuracy of the trial balance.
Audit, Tax, and Compliance
- Assist internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate tax, and other applicable regulations.
- Prepare and file tax returns on time and maintain documentation for tax audits.
Planning and Financial Management
- Assist management with annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget variances and provide analysis with corrective recommendations.
- Monitor daily cash flow, prepare projections, and manage banking relationships.
- Optimize working capital and financial resources.
Controls and Process Improvement
- Develop and implement strong internal control policies.
- Streamline accounting processes to improve efficiency.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks.
Management Support and Team Leadership
- Provide financial analysis and reports to management for decision-making.
- Support financial planning and strategy formulation.
- Present monthly MIS reports.
- Guide and mentor junior accountants and review work prepared by the accounting team.
- Coordinate with other departments to support smooth financial operations.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an accountant.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Employment and Compensation
- The position is full time.
- The stated compensation is AED 5,000 to AED 7,000 per month.
Work Arrangement
- The work location is in person.
