Job Summary
The Platform Security & Modernization Engineer (Senior Level) role requires 5–8 years of experience with strong Java and JavaScript programming skills, experience in Python, Spring Boot, and REST API development, a solid understanding of object-oriented design and software engineering principles, knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, familiarity with networking protocols such as HTTPS, SSH/SFTP, and TLS, and experience working with relational databases including Oracle and PostgreSQL.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using Java and JavaScript. Develop applications and services using Spring Boot. Build and support REST APIs. Develop and maintain Python-based components or scripts. Apply object-oriented design principles in solution development. Follow software engineering principles during development activities. Work in Linux/Unix environments. Utilize networking protocols including HTTPS, SSH/SFTP, and TLS. Work with relational databases including Oracle and PostgreSQL.
Skill Requirements
- Strong Java/JavaScript programming skills. Experience with Python. Experience with Spring Boot. Experience with REST API development. Understanding of object-oriented design principles. Understanding of software engineering principles. Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems. Familiarity with networking protocols including HTTPS, SSH/SFTP, and TLS. Experience working with relational databases. Hands-on experience with Oracle databases. Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL databases.
