- Sand, scrape, clean, and prep wood surfaces; apply fillers to cracks and imperfections

- Set up, maintain, and operate conventional, airless, or HVLP spray equipment
- Apply primers, base coats, stains, sealers, and topcoats evenly across various wood types and MDF
- Inspect finished products for defects and perform touch ups or re work as needed
- Clean and maintain spray guns, booths, and ventilation systems daily; adhere to safety protocols
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Spray Painter specializing in wood, furniture, or joinery/fit out projects
- Deep understanding of different wood species, veneers, and MDF
- Strong proficiency in adjusting, cleaning, and troubleshooting professional spray painting equipment
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a spray booth environment

Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled and detail oriented Wood Spray Painter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing wood surfaces and applying high quality finishes, stains, lacquers, and paints to furniture, cabinets, and custom interior wood fixtures.
Key Responsibilities
- Surface Preparation: Sand, scrape, clean, and prep wood surfaces; apply fillers to cracks, holes, and imperfections to ensure a flawless base.
- Mixing & Matching: Mix paints, stains, varnishes, and lacquers to match specific color codes, client samples, or design specifications.
- Spray Operation: Set up, maintain, and operate conventional, airless, or HVLP spray equipment.
- Application: Apply primers, base coats, stains, sealers, and topcoats (PU, NC, acrylic, or water based finishes) evenly across various wood types and MDF.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products for runs, sags, dust contamination, or uneven coloring, and perform touch ups or re work as needed.
- Maintenance & Safety: Clean and maintain spray guns, booths, and ventilation systems daily. Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including wearing proper PPE.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as a Spray Painter specializing specifically in wood, furniture, or joinery/fit out projects.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of different wood species, veneers, and MDF, and how they absorb stains and finishes.
- Equipment Mastery: Strong proficiency in adjusting, cleaning, and troubleshooting professional spray painting equipment.
- Finishing Techniques: Experience with high gloss finishes, matte finishes, staining, distressing, or special effects is highly preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, handle repetitive motions, and work comfortably in a spray booth environment.
Pay
- Pay: AED1,500.00 AED1,800.00 per month
