About Us
We are a premier contracting and interior fit-out company known for delivering high-end residential and commercial projects.
To ensure the highest quality of woodcraft and installation on our sites, we are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented **Door Carpenter** to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain wooden doors, door frames, architrave, and casing.
- Fit and install door hardware including locks, handles, hinges, door closers, and weather stripping.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and alternative materials accurately based on technical blueprints and site dimensions.
- Adjust, trim, and plane doors to ensure a flawless fit, smooth operation, and perfect alignment.
- Install specialized doors such as fire-rated doors, flush doors, and solid wood decorative doors.
- Collaborate with site supervisors to ensure installations meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Door Carpenter, Finish Carpenter, or Joiner in the construction/contracting industry.
- Proficiency in operating woodworking hand tools and power machinery (routers, circular saws, planers, lasers).
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, layouts, and measurements.
- Excellent eye for precision, alignment, and finishing details.
- Physical stamina and the ability to handle heavy materials safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills to handle on-site installation adjustments.
