Job Purpose
- Responsible for utilizing GRP / GRE components for fabricating spools as per the shop floor and isometric drawings, in accordance to the design and Quality Control specifications laid down and as per the schedule and duration set by the scheduling department / foreman to minimize waste and material
Key Accountabilities HSE
- Comply with relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions
- Use personal protective equipment and safety gear when performing assigned tasks
- Keep operational areas clean and well organized to prevent incidents and accidents
- Maintain assigned tools, equipment and machinery in good working order
- Report unsafe acts, incidents or safety violations.
Key Accountabilities Workflow
- Inform the assistant foreman of the daily output status to ensure schedules are met
- Utilize fittings, pipes and components to fabricate spools in accordance to the drawings, specifications and quality standards
- Inform the assistant foreman of any accidents, problems, mistakes or non conformities faced during production
- Self QC the product and coordinate with the QC department for inspection and release
Span of Communication
- Internal: Production, Stores, QC and Maintenance Departments
Required Qualifications
- Technical / High School
Preferred Experience
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience as a Spool Maker in the similar industry
