About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• **Spool Fabrication & Workflow**
• Utilize fittings, pipes, and GRP/GRE components to fabricate spools in strict accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Self-QC completed products and coordinate with the QC department for inspection and formal release
• Report daily output status to the assistant foreman to ensure production schedules are on track
• Immediately flag any accidents, non-conformities, or production issues to the assistant foreman
• **Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)**
• Comply with all relevant HSE procedures, safety instructions, and environmental control requirements
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area
• Keep assigned tools, equipment, and machinery in good working order
• Report all unsafe acts, incidents, or safety violations without delay

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical diploma or High School certificate
• 1–2 years of relevant experience as a Spool Maker in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Skills & Knowledge

• Knowledge of different pipe types and GRP/GRE components
• Understanding of raw materials, associated hazards, and resin mixing/dosage
• Ability to read and interpret product specifications, shop floor drawings, and isometrics
• Proficiency with fabrication tools: cutter, grinder, and spooling template generation
• Skilled in using measuring instruments: measuring tapes, Pi tapes, spirit level, centre register, bevel protector, wrapping around tape
• Knowledge of quality standards and visual defect identification

• Ability to read and apply raw material recipes
• Ability to read shop floor drawings and isometrics
• Strong self-QC discipline
• Good communication skills — English is required
