Role Overview
Provide speech and language therapy services for children with communication disorders.
The role includes assessment, treatment planning, therapy delivery, documentation, and collaboration with families and professionals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in children.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance communication skills.
- Provide one-to-one and group therapy sessions in a supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with parents, educators, and other professionals on comprehensive support systems.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes.
- Provide community workshops for teachers and caregivers.
- Use sensory rooms and therapeutic equipment effectively during sessions.
Essential Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy or a relevant field.
- Valid license to practice Speech and Language Therapy in the UAE.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
