Role overview
Wells Fargo is seeking a Specialty Software Engineering Senior Manager for teams supporting structured products, credit trading, and municipal bond businesses.
The role leads strategy, development, delivery, and operational stability for front-office trading platforms across Capital Markets.
Platforms support risk management, P&L reporting, inventory management, electronic trading, regulatory compliance, and controls.
Leadership responsibilities
- Manage, coach, and develop engineering managers and experienced engineers.
- Hire talent, build domain capabilities, and conduct performance management.
- Manage people and financial resources to meet commitments and strategic objectives.
- Represent products in cross-team planning and act as a technical representative.
Technology delivery
- Ensure platform architecture and non-functional requirements are met for each release.
- Guide design, conduct peer reviews, and build engineering skills in the codebase.
- Resolve code, build, deployment, software lifecycle, and security roadblocks.
- Drive security, stability, scalability, and technology risk mitigation.
