Role Summary
The SAP Security Specialist manages SAP security, authorizations, access controls, segregation of duties, compliance, audit support, identity management, and security governance.
The role supports SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Sales Cloud, and integrated enterprise applications.
The position safeguards access, regulatory compliance, data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Administer SAP security roles, profiles, authorizations, and user access across SAP and related platforms.
- Design role-based access controls and perform SoD analysis, risk assessments, remediation, and conflict reviews.
- Manage provisioning, de-provisioning, privileged and emergency access, and access recertification.
- Integrate SAP security with Active Directory, Azure AD, SSO, identity management, and authentication platforms.
- Enforce policies, audit requirements, cybersecurity standards, and regulatory obligations.
- Conduct access reviews and support internal and external audits with evidence and corrective actions.
- Assess SAP project security impacts and coordinate with functional, Basis, infrastructure, cybersecurity, compliance, audit, and partner teams.
- Monitor vulnerabilities and access risks, and maintain security standards, procedures, documentation, access matrices, and governance frameworks.
