About the Role

  • Provides business analytics and reporting to functional areas or projects/programs.
  • Identifies and develops metrics by working with users and stakeholders.
  • Translates business results into meaningful metrics and recommendations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work with Director of Programs to ensure PMO activities support strategic plan.
  • Actively participate in process project selection activities.
  • Manage short term initiatives and long term projects with emphasis on productivity improvement.
  • Develop new processes within PMO and in partnership with other business units.
  • Represent PMO on cross functional system teams and initiatives.
  • Monitor project status and report deviations.
  • Conduct analysis on PMO effectiveness and performance.
  • Work with management to develop strategic direction of PMO.
  • Provide guidance and support to business units in executing new processes.
  • Develop and deliver training on new and improved systems.
  • Liaise with IT to ensure support for PMO information systems.
  • Lead development and maintenance of documentation for PMO business systems processes.

Required Capabilities

  • Proven ability to apply Project Management tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Talented at developing solid working relationships across business units.
  • Ability to negotiate requirement priorities between stakeholders.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Power BI, and Report Builder.
  • Adept in ERP (ERPLN) and Configuration Management (Teamcenter) software is an asset.
  • Hands on expertise with relational databases (primarily Microsoft SQL) and data warehouse methodologies.
  • Proven experience developing complex SQL queries.
  • Proficient in program management processes.
  • Strong problem solving, organization, and data analysis skills.

Desired Education and Experiences

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and minimum 2 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum 8 years of prior related experience.
