Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage patients with cardiovascular diseases
- Perform and interpret coronary angiography and cardiac catheterization procedures
- Conduct interventional procedures including angioplasty and stent placement
- Manage emergency cardiac cases and acute coronary syndromes
- Evaluate and treat patients requiring pacemaker implantation and related cardiac interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital quality standards
- Participate in on call duties as required
Requirements
- MBBS from a recognized institution
- MD/DNB in General Medicine (preferred pathway)
- DM Cardiology or DNB Cardiology
- Valid medical registration
- Minimum 4 years of post specialization experience in Interventional Cardiology
- Hands on experience in Cath Lab procedures
- Proven experience in Coronary Angiography, Coronary Angioplasty (PCI), Cardiac Catheterization, Pacemaker related procedures
- Oman DataFlow preferred
- Oman Prometric examination preferred
- Oman Medical License or OMSB eligibility preferred

Job Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Muscat, Oman.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage patients with cardiovascular diseases.

- Conduct interventional procedures including angioplasty and stent placement.
- Manage emergency cardiac cases and acute coronary syndromes.
- Evaluate and treat patients requiring pacemaker implantation and related cardiac interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Qualifications
- MBBS from a recognized institution.
- MD/DNB in General Medicine (preferred pathway).
- DM Cardiology or DNB Cardiology.
- Valid medical registration.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of post specialization experience in Interventional Cardiology.
- Hands on experience in Cath Lab procedures.
- Proven experience performing: Coronary Angiography, Coronary Angioplasty (PCI), Cardiac Catheterization, Pacemaker related procedures, Balloon Mitral Valvotomy (preferred), Pericardial Effusion Tapping / Pericardiocentesis (preferred).
Preferred Requirements
- Oman DataFlow preferred.
- Oman Prometric examination preferred.
- Oman Medical License or OMSB eligibility preferred.
