Overview
- Provide comprehensive specialist Internal Medicine care in accordance with best-practice clinical guidelines and Al-Futtaim Health Medical Staff Bylaws
- Conduct thorough patient consultations to assess symptoms, medical history, and overall health concerns
- Diagnose and manage acute illnesses, including bacterial and viral infections, as well as chronic medical conditions
- Prescribe and manage medications, therapeutic interventions, and preventive care plans
- Clearly explain diagnoses, recommended investigations, procedures, and treatment options to patients
- Monitor patient progress, evaluate clinical outcomes, and adjust management plans as necessary
- Provide health promotion and wellness advice, including lifestyle modification and disease prevention strategies
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation and records
- Refer patients to appropriate specialists when clinically indicated
- Support and manage patients requiring long-term or ongoing medical care
- Participate equitably in the on-call roster, as applicable
- Contribute to clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental development activities
- Engage in continuing medical education and remain current with advancements in Internal Medicine
- Collaborate effectively with nursing staff, allied health professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes
