- Diagnose and manage disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and biliary system.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic Upper GI Endoscopy and Colonoscopy.
- Evaluate patients for non surgical weight loss programs and determine eligibility for gastric balloon procedures.
- Perform placement and removal of intragastric balloons and provide comprehensive pre and post procedure patient care.
- Assess, manage, and monitor patients enrolled in the Allurion Gastric Balloon Capsule Program.
- Conduct pre operative gastrointestinal assessments for bariatric surgery patients and provide post operative follow up.
- Collaborate closely with Bariatric Surgeons, Plastic Surgeons, General Surgeons, Dietitians, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Board Certification (or equivalent) in Gastroenterology
- Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility as a Specialist Gastroenterologist
- Minimum 3 years of post specialty clinical experience within the UAE
- Demonstrated experience in Upper GI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Intragastric Balloon Therapy, and Allurion Gastric Balloon Capsule Program
- Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
- Excellent communication, clinical decision making, and patient counseling skills

Position Summary
- Clinica Sabah Specialty Hospital is seeking a Specialist Gastroenterologist to join its medical team.
- The role focuses on diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, intragastric balloon therapy, and the Allurion Gastric Balloon Capsule Program.
Key Responsibilities

- Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
