Duties
- Treat patients by reviewing and understanding their medical backgrounds and examining patients with discomfort or discoloration on their skin, performing biopsies and creating treatment plans for managing or curing a patient’s skin problems.
- Analyze the results from diagnostic skin tests
- Provide treatments based on tests
- Recommend treatments
- Inform on different treatment options and solutions
- Advice on skin health tips and best practices
- Recommend appropriate products
- Evaluate patients before major surgical or other medical procedures
- Refer patients to specialists as the situation requires
- Track and maintain patients' records regularly
- Work with an EMR system
- Adhere with laws and regulations
