Aon Is Looking for a Specialist, Strategic Engagement, hybrid in NYC!

As a Specialist, Strategic Engagement, you will support client engagements, contribute to strategic projects, conduct research and analysis, and help strengthen relationships across Aon's insurance ecosystem.

This role provides an opportunity to build consulting, relationship management, and analytical skills while working alongside experienced industry professionals.

What the Day Will Look Like Develop knowledge of insurer and client strategies, products, operations, and market dynamics to support client outcomes.

Support account management and client engagement activities by coordinating requests, gathering information, and helping maintain effective stakeholder communication.

Build and maintain productive relationships with clients, carriers, insurers, reinsurers, and internal colleagues.

Support client relationship management activities by tracking requests, coordinating follow-up actions, and helping ensure a positive client experience.

Collaborate with team members on strategic projects that address business challenges and opportunities facing insurers and reinsurers.

Conduct market research and perform financial, business, and data analysis that contribute to recommendations and client deliverables.

Assist with client and colleague interviews, workshops, and information-gathering activities.

Contribute to reports, presentations, and other project deliverables by organizing findings and supporting recommendations.

Coordinate meeting logistics and project activities to help ensure successful execution of client engagements.

Contribute ideas to improve engagement processes, information sharing, and project coordination activities.

Partner with internal professionals and external stakeholders to support project goals and strengthen business relationships.

Skills and Experience That Will Help You Succeed Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Insurance, or a related field.

Internship, academic, project, or professional experience involving research, analysis, customer engagement, consulting, or project support is preferred.

Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Interest in learning how to analyze large or complex data sets and translate findings into practical insights.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Demonstrated planning, organization, problem-solving, and prioritization abilities.

Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.

Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $70,000 - $82,500 annually.

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.

The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan. 2586712
