Reporting to the Global Marketing Leader, AMATS, this role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with senior business leaders, subject matter experts, and marketing colleagues across the globe. The successful candidate will play a central role in advancing our thought leadership agenda, enhancing market visibility, creating demand, and delivering integrated marketing programs that support business priorities and contribute to continued business growth. Combining strategic thinking with hands on execution, you will help shape the AMATS marketing agenda, develop compelling content and thought leadership, lead integrated campaigns, engage senior stakeholders, and measure impact. What the day will look like Strategic Marketing & Business Partnership Serve as a trusted marketing partner to the Global Marketing Leader, AMATS and business leadership team, helping translate growth priorities into impactful marketing strategies, campaigns and client engagement initiatives. Develop a strong understanding of the M&A, transaction risk and advisory marketplace, bringing forward ideas, opportunities and insights that support business growth and market differentiation. Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to identify emerging market themes, client challenges and commercial opportunities that can be translated into compelling marketing programs. Actively contribute to marketing planning discussions, recommending innovative approaches to elevate market visibility, strengthen client engagement and support strategic business objectives. Thought Leadership & Content Strategy Help shape and execute the AMATS thought leadership and content agenda, ensuring alignment with business priorities, growth opportunities and client needs. Collaborate with subject matter experts to transform complex technical expertise, transaction insights and market intelligence into compelling, client-centric content. Develop and manage a content roadmap spanning thought leadership, articles, reports, case studies, web content, social media, client communications, presentations and sales enablement materials. Ensure all content reflects a consistent voice, reinforces market positioning and clearly articulates Aon's differentiated value proposition Identify opportunities to elevate executive visibility through content, speaking opportunities, industry events and external engagement programs. Integrated Campaign Development & Execution Lead the development and activation of integrated marketing campaigns that support key growth priorities and commercial objectives. Translate business objectives into clear campaign briefs, audience strategies, messaging frameworks, content plans and activation roadmaps. Coordinate activity across content, digital, social, email, demand generation, events, webinars, media and sales enablement channels to maximize impact and audience engagement. Manage campaign execution from concept through launch, optimization and reporting, ensuring programs are delivered on time and to a high standard. Continually identify opportunities to strengthen campaign effectiveness through new channels, formats, technologies and audience engagement approaches. Client Engagement & Events Support the planning and activation of strategic events, industry conferences, executive roundtables, webinars and sponsorship opportunities aligned to business priorities. Develop content, messaging and engagement plans that maximize the commercial impact of client-facing activities. Collaborate with regional marketing and events teams to ensure consistent execution and measurement across key programs. Enterprise Collaboration & Aon United Partner closely with colleagues across Risk Capital, Human Capital, Enterprise Client Group, Industries and regional marketing teams to identify opportunities for integrated marketing activity and cross-solution storytelling Help position AMATS expertise within enterprise campaigns and strategic growth initiatives where appropriate. Build strong relationships across marketing centres of excellence, leveraging shared capabilities and best practices to enhance program effectiveness. Measurement, Insights & Optimization Define campaign objectives, KPIs and success measures for all major marketing initiatives. Partner with analytics and demand generation resources to evaluate campaign performance, audience engagement and business impact. Use data, stakeholder feedback and market insights to continuously optimize content, campaigns and client engagement activities. Prepare concise performance summaries and actionable recommendations for marketing and business leadership. Skills and experience that will lead to success Experience 7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, content marketing, integrated campaign management, demand generation, strategic communications or a related field. Demonstrated success developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive measurable business outcomes.
Experience
supporting professional services, financial services, consulting, legal, insurance or other complex B2B organizations is desirable. Technical & Professional Skills Exceptional storytelling and content development capabilities, with the ability to simplify complex topics into compelling and client-relevant narratives. Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen. Ability to connect business objectives, audience needs and market insights to create impactful marketing programs. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders and deadlines simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience engaging with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts. Proficient in campaign measurement, performance reporting and marketing analytics Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or a related discipline preferred. Pay Transparency Laws The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $110,000 - $135,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Chicago, Illinois. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
