Aon is looking for an Analyst, Strategic Engagement, hybrid in NYC!
Aon Inpoint provides advisory and implementation support to leading insurance and reinsurance organizations across the global property and casualty and health and benefits markets.
We help clients respond to an evolving market, strengthen strategic relationships, identify growth opportunities, and improve business results.
Our team combines Aon data, market research, industry knowledge, and insights from colleagues across Aon’s global network.
As an Analyst, you will partner with Client Leaders and colleagues across Aon to turn complex information into clear insights and practical recommendations.
You will contribute to strategic client engagements while building your capabilities in consulting, data analysis, relationship management, and the insurance and reinsurance industry.
What the day will look like Partner with Client Leaders to support strategic client engagements, relationship initiatives, and business priorities.
Analyze large and complex data sets using Aon’s internal data and other relevant sources.
Translate data into clear insights, conclusions, and recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders.
Assess client strategies, risk appetite, capability gaps, growth opportunities, and critical success factors.
Provide strategic advice that supports client decision-making, relationship development, and long-term planning.
Help translate recommendations into practical implementation steps, expected business benefits, and measures of success.
Monitor progress against agreed objectives and help evaluate whether initiatives are delivering the intended business value.
Maintain organized client engagement plans, document key relationship activities, and coordinate follow-up actions with Client Leaders and internal partners.
Identify opportunities to strengthen client engagement, analytical, reporting, and internal working processes.
Support the implementation of practical process improvements that increase consistency, efficiency, or the usefulness of client insights.
Conduct market research on insurance and reinsurance trends, competitors, organizations, and industry participants.
Use market research and client insights to support sales discussions, client presentations, and business development opportunities.
Build knowledge of Aon’s products, services, and capabilities and apply that knowledge to client needs and opportunities.
Develop an understanding of insurers’ strategies, products, leadership, and operations to support relevant and informed client recommendations.
Collaborate with local, regional, and global colleagues to bring the right capabilities and perspectives to each engagement.
Prepare clear, concise presentations and other materials for client meetings, internal discussions, and sales opportunities.

Skills and experience that will lead to success Approximately two or more years of experience in account management, consulting, client engagement, analytics, financial services, insurance, or a related field.
Experience
in the insurance or financial services industry is preferred but not required.
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to work with large or complex data sets and identify meaningful trends and insights.
Ability to communicate findings and recommendations clearly to different audiences.
Experience
building and maintaining productive relationships with clients, colleagues, or other stakeholders.
Strong collaboration, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow through on commitments, and contribute effectively in a team environment.
Curiosity about client needs, market trends, products, and business strategies.
Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and support the implementation of practical solutions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
Ability to travel less than 10% of the time.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $85,000 - $100,000 annually.
The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.
The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan. 2026-107218
