Responsibilities
- Execute special process operations including heat treatment, blasting, shot peening, and coating per approved procedures

Requirements
- Diploma in a relevant field or high school degree with relevant work experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial manufacturing operations
- Qualified to operate special processes including Heat Treatment, Blasting and Shot Peening
- Strong understanding of manufacturing safety standards and quality requirements
- Working knowledge of industrial machine operation and basic maintenance practices
- Ability to read and follow technical procedures and work instructions
- English language proficiency
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Overview
- The Special Process Operator is responsible for executing and supporting critical special process operations within the Gas Turbine Cell at the Jebel Ali Service Center.
- The role requires strong technical capability, disciplined execution, and commitment to safety, quality, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute special process operations including heat treatment, blasting, shot peening, and coating in accordance with approved procedures, technical specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Support daily production requirements by ensuring timely and accurate processing in line with customer demand and operational priorities.
- Monitor equipment performance, perform basic troubleshooting, and coordinate with maintenance and support teams to improve reliability and minimize downtime.
- Follow work instructions, technical process sheets, and operating standards to ensure repeatability and compliance.
- Support shop floor flow and operational efficiency through effective execution, teamwork, and coordination with cross functional teams.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities, lean initiatives, and site projects focused on productivity, quality, waste reduction, and operational excellence.
- Maintain strong housekeeping, ownership, and accountability within the assigned work area while promoting best practices across the shop floor.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in a relevant field from an accredited university or college, or a high school degree with relevant work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial manufacturing operations.
- Qualified to operate special processes including Heat Treatment, Blasting and Shot Peening.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing safety standards, hazard awareness, quality requirements, and special process controls.
- Working knowledge of industrial machine operation and basic maintenance practices.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow technical procedures, work instructions, and process specifications.
- English language proficiency is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team based and multicultural environment.
