- Create a climate for learning that is conducive for outstanding practice.
- Identify clear teaching and learning objectives.
- Set tasks that challenge students and ensure high levels of interest.
- Set appropriate and demanding expectations.
- Identify SEN or very able students and ensure their needs are met through differentiation.
- Provide clear structures for lessons maintaining pace, motivation, and challenge.
- Make effective use of assessment for learning.
- Make effective use of performance data and key indicators to inform planning and deliver differentiated lessons.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the school's 'Behaviour for Learning Policy'.
- Mark students work at least once every two weeks and set targets for progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Special Education Needs or a bachelor's degree in a related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification
- Minimum of 2 year teaching experience in the related field
- Passionate and caring educator
- Commitment to an extensive enrichment program
- Recent and consistent involvement in extra curricular activities
- Experience with students for whom English is an additional language
- Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services or Police check

Job Overview
- ADNOC Schools is currently seeking high performing SEN Teachers for an immediate start. The current vacancy is based in ADNOC School, Ruwais Campus, located in the Western Region (Al Dhafra) of Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities
- Creating a climate for learning that is conducive for outstanding practice

- Setting clear targets, building on prior attainment
- Identifying SEN or very able students and ensuring that their needs are met through differentiation
- Providing clear structures for lessons maintaining pace, motivation, and challenge
- Making effective use of assessment for learning
- Making effective use of performance data and key indicators to inform planning and therefore deliver differentiated lessons
- Maintaining discipline in accordance with the school’s ‘Behaviour for Learning Policy’ and encouraging good practice with regard to punctuality, behavior, standards of work, and homework
- Using a variety of teaching strategies to match approach to content, structure information, present a set of key ideas and use appropriate vocabulary
- Using effective questioning, listen carefully to students, give attention to errors and misconceptions
Requirements
- Passionate and caring educators
- Bachelors in Special Education Needs or a bachelor’s degree in a related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification with a minimum of 2 year teaching experience in the related field.
