About the Role
XL Catering and Hospitality Services is looking for an experienced Senior Cook specializing in South Indian and North Indian cuisine for an onsite role in Abu Dhabi. The cook will prepare authentic dishes, ensure quality and hygiene, train junior staff, and manage kitchen operations.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of authentic South Indian and North Indian dishes
- Ensure consistent taste, presentation, and quality of food
- Plan daily food production and coordinate with kitchen staff
- Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with regulations
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff when required
- Minimize food waste and control kitchen costs
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a cook specializing in South Indian and North Indian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of curries, biryanis, tandoori items, dosas, idlis, chutneys, gravies, and other regional specialties
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Team player with good communication skills
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays if required
- Culinary certification or relevant training preferred
