Role overview
Shape and govern the City of Stirling's enterprise application landscape and digital services.
Work across business and technology teams to translate complex requirements into secure, scalable, and sustainable solution designs.
The role sits within the Corporate Information Services team and reports to the Lead Solution Architect.
Responsibilities
- Design solution architectures supporting business objectives, digital transformation, and service excellence.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and identify technology-enabled improvements.
- Provide architecture leadership and governance across project and operational delivery.
- Lead design workshops, architecture reviews, and solution assurance activities.
- Develop application roadmaps, standards, and architecture artefacts.
- Design integration approaches, data flows, and application patterns for secure information exchange.
- Support the evolution of TechnologyOne, Microsoft technologies, and the enterprise application environment.
- Ensure cybersecurity, privacy, and information management requirements are addressed by design.
