About the Role

Architecture and Implementation

• Design and lead end-to-end D365 solution architectures across F&O, Commerce, SCM, CE, and related enterprise platforms.
• Define architecture standards, customization patterns, extension strategies, and best practices.
• Evaluate out-of-the-box capabilities against custom development and create comprehensive solution architecture blueprints.
• Provide hands-on guidance for configurations, customizations, X++, C#, data migration, testing, deployment, and go-live activities.
• Lead technical design and troubleshooting for complex customizations and implementation blockers.

Data, Performance, and Operations

• Oversee DMF/DIXF migration from legacy ERP and CRM systems into Dynamics 365.
• Architect high-volume production environments and design high availability, scalability, archiving, monitoring, and production-support strategies.
• Drive performance optimization across databases, batch jobs, APIs, queries, datasets, and configurations.
• Collaborate with Microsoft Support or FastTrack and internal technology teams on critical platform and infrastructure issues.

Integration, Power Platform, and Security

• Design D365 integration architectures using Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Dataverse, OData, Custom APIs, Business Events, Dual-Write, and REST APIs.
• Guide adoption of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse while minimizing unnecessary custom development.
• Define Microsoft One Version, modernization, technical debt reduction, and continuous upgrade strategies.
• Implement security by design using D365 security roles, RBAC, XDS, Microsoft Entra ID, SSO, and enterprise standards.

Governance and Collaboration

• Support architecture review boards and governance processes across architecture, security, integration, data, infrastructure, and operations.
• Work with enterprise, data, infrastructure, security, functional, development, vendor, and business teams.
• Mentor D365 developers, functional consultants, technical leads, and engineering teams.
• Maintain SAD, FDD/TDD, context diagrams, data-flow diagrams, application architecture diagrams, and ADRs.

Required Experience

• 10–14 years of overall IT experience in application development, enterprise systems, technical architecture, or related technology domains.
• At least 5 years as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Lead Technical Architect working with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Strong hands-on experience with D365 F&O, Commerce, SCM, and/or CE.
• Experience leading end-to-end D365 implementations and optimizing large-scale, high-volume enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with D365 LCS, Power Platform Admin Center, Azure, integrations, APIs, middleware, and enterprise data exchange.
• Strong understanding of X++, C#, SSRS, DMF/DIXF, BYOD, Data Lake Export, performance analysis, high availability, and environment monitoring.
• Experience with Azure Integration Services, Power Platform, D365 security, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, release management, and production support.

Preferred Skills

• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience is an advantage.
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, hospitality, supply chain, large-scale enterprise, or multinational D365 environments.
• Experience with Microsoft FastTrack, Microsoft Support, Microsoft One Version, application modernization, enterprise architecture, governance, or security frameworks.
• Relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, or Power Platform certifications are preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration with business and technical teams are preferred.
