Responsibilities
- Perform physical installation, rack and stack, cabling and networking of data center hardware
- Assist/support in the implementation of server, storage and network equipment
- Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure seamless integration of hardware solutions
- Work with the engineering team to ensure hardware is installed correctly according to specifications
- Perform quality checks and test functionality after installation
- Provide first line technical support to end users via telephone, email and ticketing system
- Refer complex issues to higher level support teams when necessary
- Be willing to travel (internationally and locally) to carry out installations at customers or solve problems in data centers, which includes occasional extended hours and weekend work
Requirements
- Experience in physical installation, rack and stack, cabling and networking of data center hardware
