Qualifications

• Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
• Master’s degree preferred (MBA or MSc in Technology Management a plus)
• Experience
• 10+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 4–5 years in a Solution or Enterprise Architect role
• Demonstrated experience delivering architecture for large, complex, multi-geography programs
• Insurance or Financial Services domain experience strongly preferred
• Soft Skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to influence at VP / SVP / C-level
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to lead, influence, and mentor across distributed, global teams
• Communicates effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Takes the lead in explaining complex concepts to support decision-making
• Leads or guides team members; demonstrates awareness of risk factors in their work
• Technical Skills
• Cloud platforms : AWS (preferred), Azure – design & migration patterns
• Containerization & orchestration : Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
• Integration : MuleSoft, Kafka, REST, GraphQL, OpenAPI
• Data : Snowflake, Databricks, event streaming, data mesh
• DevSecOps : CI/CD pipelines, Terraform / IaC, SAST/DAST tooling
• Domain Skills
• Lines of business : P&C, Personal Lines, Specialty and A&H
• Domain coverage : Distribution, quote & bind, policy, billing, claims, reinsurance, catastrophe management and finance
• Solution types : insurance packaged platforms, custom build, digital portals, finance/shared services applications, integration, data & analytics, workflow/automation
