Unison Group is hiring a Software Tester specializing in Playwright.
The role is based in Hyderabad, India, and is marked as onsite.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated Playwright test scripts.
- Build and enhance TypeScript or JavaScript automation frameworks.
- Automate UI, functional, regression, and end-to-end test scenarios.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to define test strategies.
- Execute automated suites and analyze results.
- Report, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Improve test coverage and reduce manual testing.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- Four to nine years of software testing and test automation experience is required.
- Strong hands-on Playwright experience is required.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript is required.
- API testing experience using Postman or REST Assured is required.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript web technologies is required.
- Experience with Git or another version control system is required.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps is preferred.
- A good understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies is required.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills are required.
