Molex is seeking a dynamic Software Requirements Engineer to join our global engineering organization and support the development of innovative products for automotive and embedded software applications. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming stakeholder and system requirements into clear, structured, and traceable software requirements while ensuring alignment with project objectives, industry standards, and customer expectations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across software, hardware, systems, and quality engineering to drive successful product development throughout the lifecycle.
You will be part of a global cross-functional engineering team responsible for developing advanced automotive and embedded software solutions. The team collaborates closely with systems, software, hardware, validation, and project management teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer requirements and industry standards while supporting innovation and continuous improvement.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in software requirements engineering, preferably within automotive or embedded software development.
Experience developing, managing, and maintaining software requirements documentation and traceability.
Knowledge of software engineering principles, software development lifecycle processes, and requirements management methodologies.
Experience with requirements management and software development tools such as Polarion, Git, AUTOSAR, or equivalent platforms.
Understanding of ASPICE processes and software quality practices.

Experience with Automotive SPICE (SWE1-SWE6) and ISO 26262 functional safety standards.
Knowledge of automotive wireless charging technologies, Qi standards, NFC, proximity detection, diagnostics, boot management, and memory management.
Experience working with software architecture, embedded software development, and C/C++ programming.
Understanding of hardware design concepts, electronic schematics, and debugging tools such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
Experience supporting automotive product development programs in a global environment.
Familiarity with risk management methodologies and requirements verification strategies.
Basic German language skills.
Experience facilitating technical discussions across multiple engineering disciplines and international teams.
