Role Overview
Software Engineer II position focused on backend development with cloud knowledge.
The role involves building reliable applications and collaborating with senior developers and architects.
Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced REST API applications using C#/.NET.
- Design and build advanced applications using Python.
- Develop microservice solutions.
- Collaborate with senior developers and ship new features.
- Work with relational and document databases, including SQL and MySQL.
- Write automated unit tests covering robustness, edge cases, usability, and reliability.
- Configure, deploy, and automate Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Work with architects to translate designs into code.
- Apply object-oriented concepts, SOLID principles, and architecture patterns.
Required Capabilities
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to evaluate alternative solutions and approaches.
- Proficiency with REST APIs in C#/.NET and with Python application development.
- Experience with microservices, SQL, MySQL, Azure cloud infrastructure, and automated testing.
- Experience with xUnit and NUnit.
- Experience with Agile practices and fast-paced Scrum teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, presentation, and writing skills.
