Role Overview
Texas Instruments is hiring a Software Engineer for its Career Accelerator Program.
The first year includes professional and technical training, function-specific learning, and hands-on work.
Role Focus
- Learn foundational software development processes, the software development lifecycle, and software development tools.
- Learn embedded software tools, real-time embedded systems design, TI device architecture, software IP licensing, open source, and SDKs.
- Gain exposure to software applications, software systems, and testing through projects and on-the-job development.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher.
- C and C++ programming skills.
- Familiarity with assembly language programming.
- Solid understanding of software engineering processes and the full software development lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
