Software Engineering Manager - Cloud Services

Nasuni is hiring a Software Engineering Manager – Cloud Services to lead the team responsible for building and operating cloud-native services that strengthen our platform’s ransomware detection and data protection capabilities.

These services process large volumes of system data, prepare it for machine learning workflows, and integrate detection capabilities into production systems that help enterprises protect and recover critical file data.

This role is ideal for a hands-on engineering leader who combines:

strong Python and distributed systems experience

AWS cloud architecture expertise

the ability to lead engineers and deliver reliable cloud services

This role focuses on engineering leadership and delivery execution , not cybersecurity research or machine learning model development.

In this role you will:

Lead and develop a team of approximately 5 software engineers .

Own delivery of cloud-native services supporting ransomware detection infrastructure.

Provide technical direction for Python-based distributed systems .

Partner with Product, Security, Cloud Platform, and SRE teams.

Ensure systems meet reliability, scalability, and security requirements .

You will remain technically engaged , participating in architecture discussions and reviewing critical code paths, while focusing primarily on team leadership, delivery predictability, and system reliability .

8–15 years total software engineering experience

2–5 years engineering management experience

3+ years AWS production system experience
